An explosion at an unoccupied terraced house on Southfield Lane, Bradford, at approximately 22:00 BST on Saturday, resulted in four injuries and damage to two neighboring properties.

West Yorkshire Police reported that the incident is suspected to be connected to an attempt to steal metal from the property. A 27-year-old man, found seriously injured near the scene, has been arrested on suspicion of theft. Police are also actively seeking Jacob Ryan, 28, who may have been injured and is urged to come forward for any necessary medical attention.

Among those injured were a man, woman, and child from adjacent properties, who received minor treatment. Emergency services, including fire and ambulance, attended the “significantly damaged” building, which was subsequently secured with the assistance of utility companies.
