British Parliamentarians Report Entry Denial During Official West Bank Delegation

Two British Labour Members of Parliament, Simon Opher and Peter Prinsley, have stated they were denied entry into Israel. The MPs were part of a parliamentary delegation scheduled to visit the occupied West Bank. Their itinerary included meetings with British diplomats in Jerusalem, as well as Palestinian and Israeli human rights organizations. This incident follows a similar report in April, when two other Labour MPs, Yang and Mohamed, also stated they were refused entry and subsequently deported. The earlier event drew criticism from David Lammy, who was then the foreign secretary.
