Conservative Member of Parliament Danny Kruger has formally announced his defection from the Conservative Party to Reform UK. Kruger, who has served as an MP since 2019, was previously noted as sitting on Kemi Badenoch’s team as a shadow work and pensions minister.
During a press conference held alongside Reform party leader Nigel Farage, Kruger asserted, “The Conservatives are over.” He conveyed his honour at being asked to assist Reform in preparing for government and stated his hope that Farage would become the next prime minister.
