Delhi is experiencing significant traffic disruptions and heightened security due to a planned protest by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar. Delhi Police have denied permission for the demonstration, citing inadequate notice and concerns over past compliance with rules. Around 25,000 police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed across the city.

Commuters travelling to Delhi from Noida and Gurugram are facing severe delays. The Sarita Vihar–Kalindi Kunj stretch has reported heavy queues due to security checks. Similarly, the Sarhaul border connecting Gurugram to Delhi has seen long lines of vehicles caused by barricades and security screenings, impacting traffic on connecting roads.

Public transportation is also heavily affected. Entry and exit gates at 45 Delhi Metro stations have been restricted, and several trains serving New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations have been cancelled. Commuters are advised to check official announcements and allow extra travel time for all journeys.
