India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, emphasized the necessity of a unified global approach against terrorism during the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New York.
Speaking on Thursday, Jaishankar stated that combating terrorism is a service to humanity at large and stressed that the international community must show neither tolerance nor assistance to such activities. He highlighted India’s focus on the interrelation between international peace and global development.
The Minister also noted a recent deterioration in global peace and development, observing its particular impact on the Global South.
