The state of Maharashtra is scheduled to commence a state-wide cleanliness campaign tomorrow, September 17, 2025. This initiative is being undertaken to commemorate the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Led by Maharashtra’s skill development department, the program will engage thousands of ITI students in cleaning 750 villages across various districts. Activities planned for the drive include waste collection and awareness rallies.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is slated to serve as the chief mentor for the campaign, with Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha inaugurating the effort.
