Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has departed for New York to attend the UN General Assembly (UNGA), with a subsequent visit to Washington planned. Reports indicate his flight is utilizing an extended route, traversing the airspaces of Italy and Greece while avoiding others.
Ahead of his departure from Ben Gurion Airport, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated his intention to address the UNGA on Friday, September 26, to present what he described as the “truth” concerning Israel, its citizens, and its defense forces. He further declared his resolve to “condemn those leaders who, instead of denouncing the murderers, rapists, and child burners, want to give them a state in the heart of the land of Israel,” asserting that “This will not happen.”
