Prime Minister Modi arrived in Kolkata on September 14, 2025, to inaugurate the 16th Combined Commanders’ Conference. This biennial event is scheduled to be held at Fort William in Kolkata from September 15 to 17, marking the Prime Minister’s second visit to the city within a month.
Following his participation in the conference, Prime Minister Modi is slated to travel to Purnea, Bihar. During his visit to Bihar, he is expected to inaugurate a new terminal building at the Purnea airport. Additionally, he will launch multiple development projects with an estimated value of approximately Rs 36,000 crore, which include new thermal power and rail infrastructure initiatives.
