The fantasy drama Mirai, featuring Teja Sajja, debuted in theaters on September 12. Despite receiving a varied reception from both audiences and critics, the film has achieved commercial success at the box office.
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma recently expressed his views on the movie through social media. He praised the visual effects in Mirai, characterizing them as ‘grand,’ and juxtaposed them with those of films reportedly budgeted at over 400 crore rupees, implying Mirai’s VFX stood out favorably.
Varma also commented on individual performances, stating he was initially mistaken about actor Manoj being miscast as the villain, ultimately commending his ‘terrific portrayal.’ Similarly, he revised his initial doubt regarding Teja Sajja’s suitability for large-scale action, acknowledging his error.
