President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump began a two-day state visit to the United Kingdom on Wednesday, receiving a greeting from the British royal family at Windsor Castle outside London. The visit’s initial itinerary included a planned carriage ride through the Windsor estate and a state dinner at the historic castle. The couple was scheduled to spend the night at Windsor Castle before President Trump’s anticipated meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday.
Prior to the official arrival, activists protested on Tuesday by projecting an image of President Trump with Mr. Epstein onto the walls of Windsor Castle and displaying a large banner on the castle’s lawn. Both President Trump and Prime Minister Starmer were expected to address questions regarding the ongoing “Epstein saga” during the visit.
