All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi addressed voters in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency ahead of upcoming by-polls, commenting on local development and electoral choices. Owaisi asserted that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the late former legislator Maganti Gopinath had not sufficiently focused on the constituency’s needs during their decade in power. He further stated that AIMIM has prepared a plan to enhance civic infrastructure in the area.
During his address, Owaisi encouraged voters to elect a “young, local” candidate for the constituency. He also called for efforts to limit the political presence of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jubilee Hills. The article noted that the by-election has prompted various parties to engage with the constituency’s substantial Muslim voter base, including a reported meeting between Ramarao and Muslim preacher Maulana Ahmed Naqshbandi in Rehmat Nagar.
