Amos TG has been honored with the Best Director award at the Kerala State Television Awards for his short film 'Opponent'. The 27-minute production, filmed across Kerala and Tamil Nadu, centers on its protagonist, Faiz, portrayed by Kishore Roshik. The narrative explores Faiz's emotional state following an accidental fatality during a boxing match.

The film made its premiere at the iNiM: India International Short Movie Fest 2024 in the UAE. Its editing, overseen by Fazil Rasak, a director known for 'Thadavu', was particularly noted for its quality. The cast also received significant accolades, with Kishore Roshik securing Best Actor awards at both the LK International Film Festival and the FETE International Short Film Festival. Additionally, Amritha Krishnakumar earned a special jury mention at the iNiM festival for her portrayal of Faiz's sister. These multiple awards across various film festivals have been cited as a source of encouragement for the entire production team.
