Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha alleged on Thursday, November 6, 2025, that his convoy experienced an attack by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supporters in his Lakhisarai Assembly constituency. Mr. Sinha claimed that objects including slippers, cow dung, and stones were thrown at his convoy, and accused RJD workers of attempting to capture a polling booth. He also criticized the local administration for alleged inaction and announced plans to lodge a formal complaint with the Election Commission. In response to the reported incident, Election Commission official Gyanesh Kumar directed the Director General of Police (DGP) to initiate immediate action. The alleged incident occurred during the first phase of assembly elections, which saw voting for 121 seats across the state amid security arrangements.
