Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Harish Rao accused Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and All India Congress Committee (AICC) leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi of failing to fulfill promises made to unemployed youth during the 2023 Assembly elections. During a meeting, Mr. Rao released a 'nirudyoga baki card' (debt card on promises to unemployed youth) to underscore these alleged unkept commitments.

According to Mr. Rao, the Congress had pledged to fill 2 lakh government jobs within its first year in power, issue an annual job calendar, conduct a yearly mega DSC for teacher posts, and provide financial support for self-employment to 5 lakh unemployed youth. He challenged Congress leaders to visit coaching centers in Ashok Nagar and Chikkadpally to observe the sentiment among the unemployed, asserting that deceiving the youth would incur significant political consequences.
