Cambridge Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Friday morning on Sherman Street, near Danehy Park and in the vicinity of Harvard University. The university briefly implemented a shelter-in-place order and issued multiple emergency alerts to its community as police searched for an unidentified male suspect, reportedly on a bicycle. Authorities recovered ballistic evidence at the scene.
A spokesperson for Cambridge Police stated that there are currently no known victims and no ongoing concerns regarding public safety risks.
