An incident involving a stabbing occurred on a train in Cambridgeshire, leading to eleven individuals receiving hospital treatment. The train made an unscheduled stop in Huntingdon, where armed police arrested two men within eight minutes of the British Transport Police being alerted. A knife was recovered from the scene, and witnesses reported police using a Taser on one man observed holding a knife.
Cambridgeshire Police are currently reviewing three further incidents, including the stabbing of a 14-year-old in Peterborough, to establish any potential connection to the train attack. The police force has also referred itself to the police watchdog for scrutiny of its response to the events.
