On November 8, 2025, various areas across northern India, including Delhi-NCR and adjacent regions, experienced air quality classified as 'poor' to 'very poor'.
According to data compiled by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), air quality index (AQI) readings in multiple locations across Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh were reported to be significantly beyond safe thresholds, indicating widespread environmental concerns.
In response to these conditions, health experts advised vulnerable populations, specifically children, the elderly, and individuals with respiratory conditions, to limit their outdoor activities. Additionally, the Delhi government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) adjusted office timings in an effort to mitigate the impact of the worsening pollution levels.
