A rehearsal for the Miss Rishikesh pageant in Rishikesh, India, was interrupted by a right-wing group. On Friday, members of the Rashtriya Hindu Shakti Sangathan outfit entered the venue and voiced objections to the attire worn by the participants.
The group asserted that the event was “against Uttarakhand’s culture,” demanding that the rehearsal be shut down. Police subsequently arrived at the location and successfully brought the situation under control.
