On Friday, British authorities identified Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, as the two individuals killed in a declared terrorist attack outside the Heaton Park Congregation synagogue in Manchester, England. The incident, which occurred on Yom Kippur, involved a perpetrator ramming a car into people and then conducting a stabbing spree. Three other individuals were injured and remain hospitalized. Counterterrorism police identified the perpetrator as Jihad al-Shamie, 35, a British citizen of Syrian descent. Greater Manchester Police stated that the victims’ families have been informed and are receiving support.
