Police have identified Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, as the two men who died following an attack on a Manchester synagogue on Thursday. The incident occurred at a synagogue in Heaton Park, north Manchester, during a morning service.
Home Secretary Mahmood confirmed that the individual responsible for the attack was not known to law enforcement prior to the event. She stated that the attacker bears sole responsibility for the incident and indicated that it is premature to determine if a terrorist cell was involved. The Home Secretary also requested that pro-Palestine demonstrations not be held in the aftermath of the attack.
Authorities have announced plans for increased security at synagogues and Jewish community centers across the region in the upcoming days.
