The third and final One-Day International (ODI) between Pakistan and South Africa is set to be contested on Saturday in Faisalabad. The series currently stands tied at one match apiece, following a previous Test series that also concluded in a 1-1 draw, and a Twenty20 International (T20I) series which Pakistan won 2-1.
During the second ODI, South Africa secured a victory by successfully chasing Pakistan's target of 269 runs in 40.1 overs. Notable batting performances for South Africa included Quinton de Kock, who scored 123 runs, and Tony de Zorzi, who contributed 76 runs. For Pakistan, Salman Agha and Mohammad Nawaz each registered half-centuries. On the bowling front for South Africa, Nandre Burger claimed four wickets and Nqabayomzi Peter secured three wickets during Pakistan's innings.
