The British Transport Police (BTP) has taken over the investigation into multiple incidents in Peterborough, UK, including a stabbing and several knife sightings.
On Friday evening, a 14-year-old was stabbed in the city center at approximately 7:15 p.m., sustaining minor injuries. The suspect was not apprehended despite a police search. Fifteen minutes later, a man carrying a knife was reportedly seen near a nearby barbershop, an incident reported to police two hours after it occurred.
The following morning, around 9:25 a.m., the same man was observed at the barbershop again. Officers arrived 18 minutes later but did not locate him. The BTP is treating the two barbershop incidents as linked and is conducting inquiries into a possible connection between them and the stabbing of the 14-year-old. This broader investigation also includes two separate attacks that took place on Saturday.
