Authorities in Beed district, Maharashtra, are investigating the deaths of a man and his four-month-old son. Police reports indicate the infant was found deceased in a partially filled water drum. The father, identified as Amol Sonavane, is alleged to have drowned his son before dying by suicide. Preliminary police investigations suggest that Mr. Sonavane had a history of attempting suicide. The bodies of both individuals have been transported to the Talwada Primary Health Centre for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and further investigation into the incident is currently underway.
