Prime Minister Modi Campaigns in Bihar, Addresses Past Governance and Opposition

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ahead of his campaign launch for the Bihar assembly elections, addressed the state's political landscape. He is scheduled to commence his campaign on Friday with public meetings in Samastipur and Begusarai, as Bihar prepares for polls on November 6 and 11.

During his remarks, Prime Minister Modi commented on the previous governance by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), referring to it as "Jungle Raj," and asserted that the people of Bihar would remember this period for an extended time. He also critically labeled the opposition alliance as a 'lathbandhan,' alleging it was a coalition whose leaders are out on bail. Modi further suggested that this alliance did not prioritize the youth of Bihar and was connected to past issues of Naxalism and Maoist terrorism in the region.

The Prime Minister urged Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to engage actively with the public and first-time voters, emphasizing the importance of their participation. He also stated that a new era for women's empowerment in Bihar would begin following the NDA's potential return to power after the election results on November 14, and called for all NDA parties to collaborate in campaigning to inform voters about government schemes.
