Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Madhya Pradesh on September 17 to launch a series of national health, welfare, and development initiatives.
Key among these were the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and ‘8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah’ campaigns. These initiatives include the organization of over one lakh health camps for women and children across the country, marking a significant health outreach effort. Daily health camps will also be conducted at government health facilities nationwide, complemented by blood donation drives registered on the e-Raktkosh portal.
The Prime Minister also transferred funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana directly to the bank accounts of nearly ten lakh eligible women. He introduced the Suman Sakhi Chatbot to enhance awareness regarding maternal and child health.
In Madhya Pradesh, Modi launched the ‘Adi Seva Parv’, a program designed to promote tribal pride and nation-building. Furthermore, he inaugurated a PM MITRA Park in Dhar and initiated the ‘Maa Ki Bagiya’ project, which will involve over 10,000 women in the state.
