Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to deliver a national address on Sunday at 5 PM IST. This address is set to occur on the eve of the anticipated launch of “GST 2.0,” following the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council’s 56th meeting earlier this month, where next-generation reforms for the indirect tax regime were approved.

The Prime Minister’s public engagements include recent and upcoming events. On Saturday, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects totaling Rs 34,200 crore in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. During this event, he highlighted the importance of domestic manufacturing, stating, “Chips or ships, must make them in India.”

Looking ahead, Prime Minister Modi is slated to visit Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura on Monday. His itinerary includes laying foundation stones for multiple development projects valued at over Rs 5,100 crore in Itanagar and inaugurating development work for the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Complex.
