A Pune court on Thursday granted bail to Dr. Pranjal Khewalkar and two other individuals. These three were among seven people previously arrested after the Pune Police’s Crime Branch raided a rented studio apartment in the Kharadi area on July 27. The raid, conducted around 3:20 AM following a tip-off, led to the arrests. Dr. Khewalkar is identified in reports as the son-in-law of former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse.
