A pickle manufacturing facility operating without a valid license in Venkatesh Nagar, Jiyaguda, Hyderabad, has been the subject of an enforcement action by the Commissioner’s Task Force and Kulsumpura police. K. Ravinder, 62, was arrested in connection with the operation. Officials reported that the unit allegedly used low-quality raw materials and unsafe preservation methods, such as storing stale mangoes and lemons with rock salt. Approximately ₹3 lakh worth of pickle stock was seized during the intervention.
