An incident involving a shooting occurred at the Westfield Valley Fair mall in the Bay Area on the evening of Black Friday, resulting in two individuals sustaining injuries.
The San José Police initiated an investigation into the event, which prompted emergency calls around 5:55 PM.
San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan later confirmed that there was no ongoing threat to the community but advised the public to avoid the area. Congressman Ro Khanna also offered support to those affected and extended gratitude to first responders, including the San Jose police.
