Following an incident in Manchester, Sir Keir Starmer, Leader of the Labour Party, publicly committed to protecting Jewish communities and confronting antisemitic hatred. Greater Manchester Police reported that four individuals remain hospitalized after the event. The Israeli embassy in the UK described the act, which occurred on a significant day in the Jewish calendar and in a place of worship, as “abhorrent and deeply distressing,” indicating close contact with the Manchester Jewish community and authorities to provide support. The Community Security Trust (CST) also characterized it as an “appalling attack” and confirmed its collaboration with law enforcement and the local Jewish community. Separately, the Prime Minister emphasized the necessity of defeating “rising hatred” in Britain.
