Government officials have announced that Waves Bazaar, a hybrid portal and content marketplace dedicated to the media and entertainment sector, is set to introduce new online pitching sessions and viewing rooms. These forthcoming features aim to enhance connectivity between content creators and various industry stakeholders.
The online pitching sessions are designed to provide emerging content creators with access to mentors and investors. Concurrently, the secure online viewing rooms will allow content buyers—including film production houses, OTT platforms, television networks, and entities in gaming or animation—to preview content, thereby facilitating creators in showcasing their projects. Launched in January 2025, Waves Bazaar’s primary objective is to support Indian content creators through investments, collaborations, and international exposure, ultimately boosting India’s creative economy by attracting further investment. The platform currently hosts over 6,000 content creators and sellers, alongside more than 5,500 buyers and companies.
