On Monday, September 15, 2025, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav delivered a critical assessment of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Yadav alleged that the current administration operates outside the bounds of the Constitution and law, exerts undue pressure on the populace, and demonstrates a lack of control over law enforcement agencies. He predicted that the electorate would decisively remove the BJP from power in the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections.
Addressing potential policy changes, the former Chief Minister stated that a Samajwadi Party government would implement a complete ban on the outsourcing system, prioritizing the creation of permanent jobs and ensuring full reservation for the state’s youth. He further accused the BJP government of significantly damaging Uttar Pradesh’s education and health infrastructure, citing a shortage of academic staff in educational institutions, increased costs for medical education, and the destruction of medical facilities established under previous Samajwadi Party rule.
Mr. Yadav concluded by highlighting the alleged neglect of the Vishwakarma community under the BJP’s governance, particularly concerning employment and education. He asserted that the “PDA community” holds the decisive power to unseat the ruling party.
