Andhra Pradesh’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) reportedly grew by 10.5% in the first quarter (Q1) of the 2025-26 fiscal year. This rate exceeds the national average GSDP growth of 8.8% for the same period, according to a review report from the Planning Department.
Within the state, the Agriculture and allied sectors registered a 9.6% growth, valued at ₹81,496 crore, in contrast to the national average of 3.2% for these sectors. The Industry sector expanded by 11.9%, contributing ₹92,843 crore, compared to India’s 6.8%.
The state also introduced the compilation of district-level Gross District Domestic Product (GDDP) estimates. During Q1, Andhra Pradesh achieved 19.2% of its annual GDDP target. The state’s stated objective for FY 2025-26 is to reach a GSDP of ₹18.65 lakh crore, aligning with the Swarna Andhra Vision 2047.
