Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam has launched a suite of IT-enabled services for the upcoming Dasara Mahotsavam–2025. Inaugurated by Endowments Commissioner K. Sreenivasa Naik, these digital initiatives aim to enhance pilgrim convenience, safety, and transparency during the festival.
The new platforms include a dedicated Dasara 2025 Mobile Application, available on both Android and iOS. This application functions as a single-window digital platform, integrating services such as darshan timings, daily Goddess alankarams with photographs, QR-based seva bookings, live streaming of festivities, and updates on prasadam and annaprasadam counters. It also features bus tracking with estimated times of arrival, parking slot availability, emergency service contacts, locations for toilets and drinking water, and child safety features via QR wristbands.
Additionally, a WhatsApp Chatbot has been introduced, allowing pilgrims to access information and services directly without the need to download an application. The AI-powered chatbot supports queries in both Telugu and English, providing details on darshan schedules, daily alankaram information, prasadam availability, parking and transport updates, emergency contacts, and location-based navigation links. Both the mobile application and the WhatsApp chatbot were designed and developed by Amaravathi Software Innovations Pvt. Ltd.
