The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at locations associated with Ashok Kumar Mittal, a Rajya Sabha MP representing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). These operations were initiated under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
According to agency officials, the searches encompassed ten locations across Gurugram, Haryana, and Jalandhar, Punjab. Premises covered included Mr. Mittal's properties and educational institutions promoted by his family, specifically naming Lovely Professional University, Tetr College of Business, and Masters’ Union School of Business.
