A 22-year-old woman, Haniya Ayesha, died following a road accident in Kukatpally late on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when a mini truck collided with the two-wheeler she and her 26-year-old husband, Abdul Basit, were riding. Police reported that the couple was returning home from Lakeshore Mall at the time of the collision. Ms. Ayesha sustained severe injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased at a private hospital. Mr. Basit also suffered injuries to his left hand and other parts of his body.
