The family of Virginia Giuffre has publicly called for a comprehensive investigation into Prince Andrew regarding allegations of sexual abuse. Ms. Giuffre claims she was sexually abused three times by Prince Andrew in 2001, when she was 17, following an introduction by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. Her brother, Sky Roberts, emphasized that “every single person deserves to be held to the fullest extent of the law,” regardless of their status.
Prince Andrew stepped back from royal duties in 2019 amid the Epstein scandal and public backlash from a BBC interview concerning his association with the convicted paedophile. Beyond Prince Andrew, Ms. Giuffre’s family also urged investigations into other individuals linked to Epstein, specifically mentioning former US President Donald Trump, who was reportedly included in an Epstein birthday book. Mr. Roberts further called upon former President Trump to release remaining “Epstein files,” stating it would be the appropriate action if he is not implicated. The White House has previously denied the authenticity of an alleged letter from former President Trump to Epstein.
