The Secunderabad District Task Force (DTF) recently apprehended a Nigerian national, identified as James Tesling Yamunel, in Hyderabad. The apprehension near Paradise junction was based on intelligence inputs concerning the alleged transport of cocaine from Mumbai. Authorities reported seizing 7.5 grams of the contraband, valued at ₹2.35 lakh, found in five distinct packets in the individual's possession.
According to police statements, the DTF team conducted surveillance and intercepted the suspect upon arrival. During questioning, the accused reportedly indicated that the drug was procured in Mumbai at a cost of ₹15,000 per gram and intended for sale in Hyderabad for ₹30,000 per gram. The individual has since been handed over to the Secunderabad Excise Station for further action.
