Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has formally apologized to neighboring countries for attacks attributed to Iran. In a speech broadcast by state television, President Pezeshkian stated, "I apologise … to the neighbouring countries that were attacked by Iran." He further indicated that Iran's interim leadership council has approved a policy to prevent future attacks or missile strikes against neighboring nations, unless an assault against Iran originates from those countries.

Concurrently, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that more than 80 air force fighter jets conducted strikes against "key Iranian regime military infrastructure" in Tehran and central Iran overnight. Regional tensions persist, with Gulf countries reporting the interception of additional ballistic missiles and drones during a new wave of retaliatory strikes by Iran. Separately, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced they had targeted "separatist groups" in Iraq's Kurdistan region.

In related news, Emirates airline has stated it will resume operations and will provide further updates as available.
