Panchkula police have arrested two individuals in connection with an alleged online fraud scheme involving forex trading. The arrests follow a complaint filed by a Panchkula resident who reported being lured into opening a forex trading account on July 17.

According to the police, the complainant received a WhatsApp link that directed them to a website where communication occurred via a chatbox. Through this process, the individual was allegedly defrauded of Rs 5.90 lakh across multiple transactions. A case was formally registered on September 7 at the cybercrime police station.
