Panchkula police have arrested two individuals in connection with an alleged online fraud scheme involving forex trading. The arrests follow a complaint filed by a Panchkula resident who reported being lured into opening a forex trading account on July 17.
According to the police, the complainant received a WhatsApp link that directed them to a website where communication occurred via a chatbox.
