When asked about a potential meeting in New York, Albanese remarked, “We’ll see what happens there.” Separately, Australia announced on Saturday plans to allocate A$12 billion ($8 billion) for defense facilities in Western Australia, intended to support the delivery of submarines under the AUKUS agreement.
