The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has lodged a police complaint seeking legal action concerning an alleged birthday celebration within the sacred hill town of Tirumala. The complaint targets individuals identified as Tanuja and Divvela Madhuri, following reports that a cake was brought to the location and a video of the event was subsequently posted on social media. TTD officials have characterized the incident as "highly inappropriate" and a "violation of established norms," emphasizing that such activities are strictly prohibited on the shrine premises. The TTD Vigilance Department has initiated an investigation into the matter. MLC Duvvada Srinivas was reportedly in Tirumala for darshan with Madhuri and Tanuja on the day of the alleged incident. The MLC couple had previously been involved in an alleged photoshoot controversy near the temple.
