SpaceX CEO Elon Musk stated that competition from his company’s Starlink service would benefit Indian consumers by providing more choices. He argued that Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani’s business would not fail even if profits decreased due to competition.
Musk criticized arguments against Starlink’s entry into India, calling them hypocritical. He noted that opponents claim Starlink cannot compete on price but also that it would be too strong a competitor.
According to Musk, competition benefits the average citizen by offering more options. He added that Starlink would need to offer affordable pricing to attract customers in India.
