The Tripura Legislative Assembly is scheduled to hold a two-day session on September 19 and 23. This schedule was announced by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath following a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee, which included representatives from the BJP, TIPRA Motha, and opposition parties CPM and Congress. The session will not convene on September 22, a decision attributed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to the state. Additionally, the two-day duration for the session was determined in consideration of the upcoming Durga Puja festival. In the absence of the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker is designated to preside over the proceedings.
