Alcaraz capitalized by breaking Fritz’s serve twice, establishing a 4-1 lead before closing out the match, despite Fritz managing one break back.
This win marks Alcaraz’s third consecutive ATP title, following his successes at the Cincinnati Open and the US Open since his defeat to Jannik Sinner at Wimbledon in July. He has now achieved 67 victories this season, moving closer to Jannik Sinner’s current 2024 tally of 73 wins.
