An event was recently held at Hathi Gaon in Jaipur, a dedicated settlement for elephants and their caretakers, to commemorate Anant Ambani's birthday. The celebration, organized by the Hathi Gaon Vikas Samiti with support from local authorities and animal welfare officials, centered on elephant care and tradition.
During the event, three elephants participated in a ceremonial "cake-cutting," utilizing their trunks. These elephants were decorated with traditional Rajasthani attire. Mahouts, the handlers responsible for the elephants, were also acknowledged during the program. The occasion was linked to Mr. Ambani's established involvement in animal welfare initiatives. Hathi Gaon itself was founded by the Rajasthan government in 2010 to provide improved living conditions for elephants and their mahouts.
