Kranti Gaud, a fast bowler, has achieved national representation in cricket, a journey that originated in Ghuwara panchayat, an area characterized by limited cricket infrastructure. Her initial experience with leather-ball cricket occurred in 2017. Following trials, she enrolled within a week at Rajiv Bilthare’s academy in Chhatarpur, located 80 kilometers from her hometown. Bilthare is credited with cultivating women’s cricket in the district. Gaud’s family encountered societal disapproval during her early years playing cricket alongside boys. Her rapid progress in the sport was highlighted when a family member nicknamed a car the “Kranti Express.” Gaud’s trajectory now serves as an inspiration for emerging cricketers, including Anshika Patel, who trains at the same academy in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh.
