An FIR has been registered against former Punjab transport minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, his father Sukhdev Singh Bhullar, and his personal assistant Dilbag Singh. This action follows the alleged suicide of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, a district manager with the Punjab State Warehousing Corporation. Mr. Randhawa reportedly ended his life after months of alleged mental harassment, physical assault, and death threats, which are linked to warehouse construction tenders in the Patti and Khemkaran areas of Tarn Taran. The police registered the FIR shortly after Mr. Bhullar's resignation from the Cabinet, a move that followed the circulation of a video in which Mr. Randhawa reportedly named the minister and his associates. Mr. Randhawa's family is now seeking the arrest of those accused in the case.
