Markets in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich district have experienced a significant and unexpected surge in torch sales.
This heightened demand, which has reportedly led to a threefold increase in sales over the past week, is attributed to a series of thefts recently reported across local villages, neighborhoods, and city areas.
Residents are acquiring torches to enhance their ability to monitor surroundings effectively in response to unusual noises or disturbances, leading to increased activity for both torch retailers and repair services.
