Police in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, announced on Sunday, November 30, 2025, the discovery of a 31-year-old female constable, Hemlata, found deceased in her rented residence. Authorities reported that her body was discovered by a friend on the afternoon of Saturday, November 29, 2025. Hemlata, a native of Agra district, was assigned to the Rorawar police station in Aligarh. Following a post-mortem examination, her remains were released to her family. A police investigation into the circumstances of her death is currently underway.
